World President Judy Shenefield

The Finale of the spectacular 63rd FIABCI World Congress was the inauguration of FIABCI-USA Past-President Judy Shenefield as FIABCI World President 2012-2013. Noting the great Russian philosophers who rest in the great city of St. Petersburg, she called for the continuation of the teamwork and harmony initiated by Past World President Alex Romanenko.

The day opened with the first Broker’s Forum produced by the World Council of Brokers and included a Business Contact Lunch and a packed Networking & Marketing Session. During the Congress, FIABCI-USA members stood out not only in multiple leadership positions, but in friendship, camaraderie and joie de vivre.

The 64th World Congress will take place in Taichung, Taiwan May 24-30.

We are the World

The World Council of Brokers

A new FIABCI was born on May 13, 2012. During the day the World Councils – Brokers, Developers, Experts and Managers met to plot out specific and measurable goals to be accomplished in the next 6 months prior to the next face-to-face in Brussels.

The first focus is on education and technology platforms that span the diverse spectrum of FIABCI – including not only the World Councils, but also Principal & Academic Members, the existing Committees and each Chapter and Region. Palpable excitement was in the air as each component of FIABCI realized the exponential growth possible when the treasure of FIABCI human resources are revealed and applied toward a common goal.

U.S. Delegation Arrives in St. Petersburg

The FIABCI-USA Delegation has arrived safely in a rainy St. Petersburg, Russia for the 63rd World Congress. Over the last two days, a delegation of over 50 U.S. members – the largest foreign delegation – traveled long hours and united with over 600 of their colleagues in creating a new energy in FIABCI.

One group – joined by a new Swiss friend met on one of the preliminary tours – enjoyed a traditional Russian dinner and show, only to emerge at 10:30 pm to find the sky had cleared and the sun was still out!

The first Committee Day saw intense discussion about how we can improve our work at the U.N. and high praise for the leading role the U.S. Chapter continues to play. Visit here for daily updates.
